Corporate Catering in Glasgow

At Roots, we pride ourselves on using the best local and seasonal ingredients in our kitchen. Our fruit and veg is the same high-quality produce you'll find in our veg shop, and we're proud to work with Mossgeil Dairy for our organic milk and cream, I. J. Mellis for our cheese, Croft Farm for our organic eggs, and Auchtertool Farm for our pork.

Carrot Our signature carrot cake— four layers of soft, lightly spiced cake, filled and topped with cream cheese icing and decorated with chopped walnuts

Chocolate Four layers of indulgent chocolate sponge, filled and topped with chocolate buttercream and ganache

Chocolate & raspberry Four layers of indulgent chocolate sponge, filled and topped with ganache and buttercream made with pureed Scottish raspberries

Chocolate & caramel Four layers of indulgent chocolate sponge, filled and topped with ganahe, caramel and salted caramel buttercream

Mango, lime & coconut Four layers of soft sponge with toasted coconut and chunks of mango, filled and topped with a lime & mango buttercream and finished with toasted coconut flakes

Roasted plum, muscovado & almond Four layers of light sponge made with caramelly muscovado sugar, filled and topped with roasted plum buttercream and toasted flaked almonds

Roasted peach & passionfruit Four layers of roasted peach sponge, filled and topped with passionfruit curd and roasted peach buttercream

Lemon & Raspberry Four layers of lemon sponge, filled and topped with fresh Scottish raspberries, lemon curd, and lemon buttercream

Our talented bakers can also make cakes not listed above if there's a flavour you really like— get in touch to discuss. Selected cakes can be made vegan, and gluten-free options are available.

Chocolate brownie Fudgy chocolate brownie, with optional nuts or chocolate chips. Can be made gluten-free. £2.50 each

Pastéis de nata Portuguese custard tarts, scented with lemon, cinnamon and vanilla. £2.25 each, minimum order 6

Tahini slice (vegan & gluten free) Sweet, nutty whipped tahini on a crumbly chocolate & date base, topped with chocolate ganache. £2.50 each, minimum order 6

Double chocolate cookies (vegan) Vegan but you wouldn't know it. Crisp-edged, chewy-middled chocolate cookies, with chocolate chips and optional walnuts or hazelnuts. £1.45, minimum order 6

Fresh strawberry tart Buttery pastry filled with crème patissière, macerated Scottish strawberries, and whipped Mossgeil Dairy cream. £3.25, minimum order 4

Peach frangipane tart Buttery pastry, almond & vanilla frangipane, roasted peach and flaked almonds. £2.85, minimum order 4

Poached pear tart Conference pear poached with lemon, cinnamon, star anise and cardamom, with almond frangipane and buttery pastry. £2.85, minimum order 4

Caramelised leek & smoked cheddar tart Buttery pastry filled with caramelised leeks and smoked cheddar. Can be made as individual tarts or large sliceable quiche (12 portions). £3.25 each / £28 for 12 portions

Vegan pasties Savoury vegetarian or vegan pasties, including kashmiri-spiced chickpeas, jerk-roasted cauliflower, and chanterelle mushroom & gruyère. Variety of seasonal flavours available, get in touch for details. £3.95 each

Pies Variety of meat-filled pies in flaky savoury pastry, including chicken & chorizo, traditional steak & ale, chicken, leek & mushroom and lamb keema. Get in touch to discuss. £3.95 ea.

Salads Catering Service

Greek Cherry tomatoes, peppers, red onion, olives and feta cheese, with extra virgin olive oil, parsley and oregano.

Greens Blanched seasonal greens and roasted baby potatoes, with lemon & roast garlic dressing or fresh house-made pesto

Sriracha-roast chicken & peanut salad with pak choi, stir-fried beansprouts and peanut dressing

Pasta salad Orzo or penne with fresh house-made pesto, roasted peppers, olives, artichokes and sundried tomatoes

Freekeh Blanched freekeh with preserved lemon, mint, salted cucumber, cherry tomatoes and pomegranate
