Organic blanched tiger nuts.

Sometimes referred to as earth almonds, tiger nuts have a smooth tender, sweet and nutty taste and can be consumed raw (when soaked!), roasted, dried, baked or as tiger nut milk or oil. In Spain, tiger nuts are traditionally used to make horchata, a sweet, non-alcoholic milk-like beverage derived from tiger nut mixed with sugar and water.

Not actually a nut! Tiger nuts are edible tubers cultivated from the Chufa Sedge, a plant found throughout the Eastern Hemisphere often considered a weed.

Its nut-like properties make the tiger nut an excellent substitute for those with nut allergies. Tiger nuts have a wide range of uses: sometimes added to biscuits and other bakery products as well as in making oil, soap, and starch extracts; it is also used for the production of nougat, jam, beer, and as a flavoring agent in ice cream.
